Goofy's call: Treat Magic Kingdom as a morning park on Tuesday, Oct. 27. It closes at 6 p.m. during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party week. EPCOT and Hollywood Studios run until 9, so ride the big MK headliners before early afternoon, then move on while the evening is still open.

Worth a stop: The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival runs through Nov. 21, per Disney's official Foodie Guide, so an afternoon and evening of booth-hopping turns an early Magic Kingdom exit into a full day.

Watch out: Don't plan on a late Fantasyland visit. Magic Kingdom shuts its doors at 6 p.m., so save the dark rides for before 2 p.m.
