Goofy's call: Planning a November Magic Kingdom day? Build a Main Street lunch around The Plaza Restaurant, whose holiday menu runs Nov. 1 through Jan. 2 per Disney's official Foodie Guide, published Oct. 26. It gives the midday break on the avenue a seasonal reason of its own, a solid tradeoff versus eating elsewhere on the hill.

Worth a stop: The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor's Gingerbread Milkshake joins it from Nov. 8 through Jan. 2, a vanilla milkshake with gingersnap crumbs and a chocolate gingerbread man. Late November and December visits get the fullest Main Street version.
