Well, whaddya know, folks — Saturday, October 17, crowds are runnin' hot resort-wide, so ol' Goofy's got a plan. First, a heads-up: more third-party Disney Springs shops — the LEGO Store, Zara, Vera Bradley, Sephora, and brand-new Vuori — have stopped takin' Disney Gift Cards, redemption cards, and room charge, so budget cash or a card for 'em. World of Disney, the Disney Stores, and all Springs dining still take the cards just fine. Next week needs lockin' now: Hollywood Studios shuts to day guests at 5 PM Tuesday, October 20, for a corporate buyout, EPCOT opens at 10 AM October 23 and 25 for the Half Marathon, and Magic Kingdom party nights fall October 22, 23, and 25. Today's weather? High near 77 with a late-morning rain chance — light jacket at rope drop, poncho in the bag.
