AK Today — Everything's Closed, Don't Waste the Trip

Garsh, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Animal Kingdom's a ghost town today — full refurb, ten attractions down, and I mean ten. Na'vi River Journey, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Expedition Everest, Kali River Rapids, Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, the Wildlife Express Train, Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail — all closed. That leaves you walkin' around a park with nuthin' to do. So here's ol' Goofy's advice: don't make the drive, don't burn your ticket. Go to Magic Kingdom, where all the headliners roll, or cruise EPCOT's festival booths instead. If you're already past the gates, grab the resort vinyl decals out at Disney Springs — five bucks nine-nine each, three for fifteen — a neat little souvenir while you regroup. Yuh-huh, save your feet for a better day!
